31st January - 2nd February, 2012: ImREAL presented at LEARNTEC 2012, 'the 20th Leading International Trade Fair and Convention for Vocational Education, Learning and IT', that takes place in Karlsruhe - Germany.

1st December, 2011: ImREAL will be presented at the Online EDUCA Berlin on Thursday, December 1st, 2011. Sónia Hetzner will give the presentation “Augmented Virtuality!” in session VIR32 “The Link Between Real and Virtual Worlds” (4.15 - 5.30 pm).

18th November, 2011: imaginary will present the ImREAL project at TOSM - ITN 2011, at the brokerage event in Torino, where 156 international participants are already registered!

16th-17th November, 2011: ImREAL will be presented at TechWorld2011, London - UK

26th-28th October, 2011: at eChallenges 2011, Florence - Italy, two papers about ImREAL will be presented - "Capturing Real World Activity: A Socio-Technical Approach", by Stan Karanasios, Jyoti Mishra, David Allen, Alistair Norman, Dhaval Thakker, Lydia Lau, and "Augmented Simulated Experiential Learning: The ImREAL Approach", by Vania Dimitrova, Lucia Pannese.

23rd-27th October, 2011: the paper "Leveraging the Semantics of Tweets for Adaptive Faceted Search on Twitter", by Fabian Abel, Ilknur Celik, Geert-Jan Houben, Patrick Siehndel, will be presented the 23rd of October at ISWC 2011, Bonn - Germany.

3rd-5th October, 2011: at the 29th International Conference on Design of Communication, SIGDOC 2011, Pisa - Italy, ImREAL organizes the interactive workshop on "Augmenting the learning experience with virtual simulation systems". A poster on "ImREAL: Immersive Reflective Experience-based Adaptive Learning" will also be part of the poster session.

19th September, 2011: ImREAL consortium meeting at the venue of the EC-TEL conference in Palermo, Italy.

11th-12th April, 2011: very stimulating meeting in Dublin which clarified the main focus, reviewed progress to date, and set targets for the next 6 months.
